About TidyUse

What we make

TidyUse is a small, independent website of free calculators and printable tools for home, garden and everyday money questions. Each tool focuses on one job: finding a roof pitch, estimating soil or mulch for a project, projecting savings growth or printing a guest Wi-Fi sign.

You do not need an account, and the tools work the same whether or not you accept optional analytics.

How we build each tool

Every calculator shows the formula it uses, the units it assumes and how it rounds. Each page includes worked examples you can check by hand, along with the limits of the estimate, such as material settling, bag sizes that vary by brand, or interest that is not guaranteed.

Before a tool is published, we test its formulas, unit conversions and edge cases, including invalid or empty inputs. We would rather show no result than a misleading one.

Your inputs stay with you

Calculations run in your browser. We do not send measurements, amounts, results or Wi-Fi details to our servers or to analytics. Read the privacy page for what optional analytics and our hosting provider do collect.

Estimates, not professional advice

Our results are planning estimates. For structural work, roofing safety, local building rules or financial decisions, check with a qualified professional and the product or account details that apply to you.

If a number looks wrong or a page is hard to use, contact us with the page address and the inputs you used. Corrections are reviewed and the affected page is updated.
